We are Collins Foods, the largest franchisee, franchisor, and brand owner for Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) in the Netherlands. We currently have 63 restaurants in the Netherlands and 16 in Germany, with ambitious growth plans for the future, including opening more new KFC restaurants in the Netherlands in the near future. You will work closely with your colleagues in HR and Finance, but also have contact with external stakeholders such as our payroll provider, insurers, UWV, and the tax authorities outside the organization.

What is your role in Collins Foods' success?

As a Payroll Specialist, you are responsible for the periodic processing of salaries for nearly 2300 employees. In addition to the permanent employees, you will also handle the payroll processing for our employees with hourly contracts. Some of your tasks and responsibilities include:

• Handling payroll administration in the HR system

• Keeping administrative systems, procedures, and processes up to date

• Staying up-to-date and providing information on the implementation of social laws, taxes, company regulations, salary calculations, and audits

• Monitoring and applying the correct legal and fiscal regulations regarding payroll administration

• Actively contributing to implementation and optimization projects and advising Collins Foods on these

• Serving as a resource and advisor regarding payroll administration for our managers and employees

• You are responsible for optimal collaboration with the external Payroll partner.

Requirements

• HBO level of education

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a payroll administrator or payroll specialist

• Knowledge of and experience with AFAS and/or Workday is a plus

• You have excellent communication skills and are proficient in Dutch, as well as being able to express yourself well in English
