Your responsibilities include:
As an Accounts Payable Administrator, you will contribute to the daily financial operations within the organization. With your financial expertise, you will be responsible for recording, verifying, and accurately processing incoming invoices and expense claims. In a close-knit team of 6 colleagues, your tasks will include:
Coding and booking purchase invoices
Managing the accounts payable workflow, including supplier invoicing
Performing reconciliations by comparing outstanding items with payments
Supporting the period-end closing process
Identifying, analyzing, and resolving exceptions
Contributing to the improvement of existing and new processes and procedures (AP Automation)
Maintaining and creating supplier master data
Executing and analyzing (weekly) payment runs and transfers

From our Restaurant Support Centre (RSC) in Amsterdam, we provide financial support to our 3,000+ colleagues in KFC restaurants nationwide. As an AP Accountant, you will work alongside 6 dedicated colleagues.
Job requirements
What are we looking for?

You have a completed bachelor’s degree in a (financial) administrative field and at least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
Experience in the food retail sector is preferred.
You possess strong financial and accounting knowledge and excellent Excel skills.
A strong command of the English language is required. Proficiency in Dutch and German is considered an advantage.
With your attention to detail and problem-solving skills, you perform your work accurately and correctly.
You communicate easily at various levels, both within and outside the organization.
You are well-organized and maintain oversight even in hectic situations.
You enjoy working independently but also function well in a team.
