Do you want to play an important role in the maintenance and repairs of our KFC restaurants in the Rotterdam region? Then this is your chance! Collins Foods Europe is looking for a motivated Handyman to strengthen our team.

Collins Foods Europe is seeking a Handyman for our KFC Restaurants. In this role, you will perform straightforward repair and maintenance tasks at various KFC restaurant locations. You will be responsible for carrying out preparatory and/or coordinating tasks for both planned and reactive maintenance, and you will assist in the execution of these tasks. Additionally, you will be willing to perform general support tasks, such as internal relocations and cleaning activities.

Your tasks include:

• Resolving malfunctions and carrying out repair and maintenance work on plumbing, lighting, furniture/inventory, locks and fittings, painting (including repairs), landscaping, and outdoor areas.
• Performing standard checks and inspections according to established checklists.
• Coordinating with the Service Desk and suppliers for larger repairs and managing these activities.
• Maintaining frequent contact with colleagues from various KFC restaurants and external suppliers, both by phone, email, and face-to-face.

In this role, you will work as a Handyman for various KFC restaurants in the Rotterdam region.

Who are you?

• Preferably, you have completed an MBO-level education in a technical field, supplemented with construction and technical work experience.
• You have a hands-on mentality and are willing to perform physical work.
• You have a good command of both the Dutch and English languages, both spoken and written.
• You are service-oriented, responding proactively to requests and thinking in solutions.
• You have craftsmanship and technical expertise in areas such as electrical work, finishing, carpentry, etc.
• You are flexible, as your tasks can never be fully predicted.
• This role offers a lot of freedom, so a strong sense of responsibility is essential.
• You hold a valid driver’s license.
