IT WITHIN COLLINS FOODS EUROPE

IT within Collins Foods is mainly focused on implementing (digital) solutions that should take the customer experience to an unparalleled level. From this perspective, it is particularly important that coordination takes place with Collins Foods group and with YUM! Brands. is currently organized in such a way that the technology roadmap is largely determined and compiled by Collins group (Australia). The coordination mainly lies in the fact that what is devised in Australia can also be implemented in Europe.


YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, you will manage and secure Collins IT Infrastructure across our RSC, restaurants, and (Azure) Cloud environments, ensuring performance, scalability, and security. With a focus on both daily operations and changes, you will ensure their infrastructure is ready to support future growth. The operational tasks to be performed is outsourced to external suppliers. This calls on your coordinating, directing and communication skills. Here, you can leverage your knowledge and hands-on experience in IT Infrastructure and Security from a previous role to propose ideas and challenge the status quo.

In general:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess, enhance, and optimise IT infrastructure, security systems, and solutions;
  • Ensure the security of technology assets and information, supporting exceptional customer and team member experiences;
  • Ensure compliance of all technology projects with Yum Global and CFL Group policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Design, deploy, and manage RSC, restaurant, and cloud infrastructure, coordinating with Australian teams and YUM Global to ensure consistency and alignment to organizational standards and objectives;
  • Oversee the resolution of level 2/3 technical support escalations, ensuring timely and effective problem-solving across the infrastructure;
  • Ensure business continuity by managing backups, failover systems, and disaster recovery plans, regularly testing and updating these processes to minimize downtime and safeguard critical business operations.

YOUR PROFILE

Collins foods Europe is looking for a talented IT Infrastructure & Security Coordinator Europe who will manage and secure IT Infrastructure to a higher level. Someone who is used to build and to maintain relationships at all levels within a dynamic organization. The sought candidate has the following knowledge, background, and experience:

  • A degree or equivalent in Information Technology, and additional professional certifications preferred in the requested fields of play;
  • IT Infrastructure expertise: 3-5 years of hands-on experience in designing, deploying, and managing IT infrastructure, including lifecycle management;
  • Cybersecurity knowledge: demonstrated ability in implementing security strategies and ensuring compliance with PCI-DSS, GDPR, and working with third-party vendors;
  • Project Management expertise: proven experience in managing IT changes effectively;
  • Coordination: experience in timely and successful coordination with external suppliers;
  • Excellent collaboration abilities, and communication skills in Dutch and English (min. C-1 level), German is a plus.

Collins Foods Europe (CFE) is part of Collins Foods Limited (CFL). CFL is an ASX200 listed company with operations dating back to 1969 when CFL opened the first KFC restaurant in Queensland, Australia. Fast forward 50 years and CFL is now the largest franchisee of KFC Restaurants in Australia operating over 270 KFC restaurants across Australia and 58 restaurants in the Netherlands and 16 restaurants in Germany. Add to that the 27 Taco Bell restaurants across Australia and you know that CFE is a major international player in its sector.
