Restaurant General Manager KFC Middelburg

As Restaurant General Manager at KFC, you are the inspiring leader of your restaurant team. You manage the daily operations and are responsible for all operational aspects of the restaurant, including food preparation, sales, inventory management, staff scheduling, and finances. You guide and motivate your team (approximately 50 - 100 employees), ensure a good team atmosphere, and an optimal experience for our guests. You also oversee the quality of everything served on our guests' trays.

In this role, you have the autonomy to run your restaurant as if it were your own business, with a focus on improving performance in four crucial areas: Employees, Guests, Sales, and Profit. Your responsibilities include:

• Managing the restaurant's performance

• Coaching, training, and engaging your team to help them develop into their best selves

• Achieving KPIs to ensure that your restaurant meets high standards

• Performing weekly administrative tasks to ensure a well-functioning organization

• Managing the profit and loss statement

• Leading the operation with high standards, so guests have an unforgettable experience that keeps them coming back

• Managing the recruitment process to attract the best talent that represents our core values - smart, heart, and courage

BRING YOUR BEST SELF

• MBO+/HBO level of education and demonstrable experience in leadership and development of a diverse team, with strong communication skills; knowledge of HR disciplinary and complaint procedures is a plus

• Strong people management skills, with the ability to coach, motivate, and develop a team

• Experience in retail and hospitality management, with a proven track record in improving guest experience

• Commercial insight, with a proven track record in making sound business decisions

• Understanding of profit and loss drivers; experience in cost management and commercial strategies

• Excellent command of Dutch and English is a plus
