Job description
Do you have extensive experience in absenteeism guidance and do you enjoy advising managers, guiding employees, and improving processes? At Collins Foods, we are looking for a (Senior) Absenteeism Coordinator who takes control of the entire absenteeism and reintegration process within our Dutch organization. You are the expert in the field of absenteeism, prevention, and sustainable employability and know how to combine legal regulations with a pragmatic and human-centered approach. You get energy from shaping this relatively new role and see it as a great challenge to take absenteeism management within Collins Foods to the next level!
What will you do?
In this role, you are responsible for coordinating and guiding absenteeism trajectories from A to Z. You support managers with (complex) cases, monitor legal obligations, and ensure that employees receive the right guidance during their reintegration process. In addition, you work closely with occupational health physicians, case managers, and your HR colleagues.
You also analyze absenteeism figures and identify trends within the organization. You translate these insights into concrete advice and improvement initiatives that contribute to sustainable employability and the well-being of our employees. You also play an active role in further professionalizing absenteeism processes, reports, and practices.
What do you bring?
You are a strong conversationalist who easily switches between employees, managers, and external stakeholders. You know how to involve people in your advice and always keep an eye on both the human aspect and the business interest.
Furthermore, you have:
A completed HBO education, preferably in HR, Case Management, or a similar field;
At least 5 years of experience in absenteeism guidance, case management, or occupational health services;
Good knowledge of Dutch absenteeism legislation, including the Gatekeeper Improvement Act, WIA, and UWV processes;
Strong communication and analytical skills;
A proactive, structured, and solution-oriented approach;
Good command of both the Dutch and English language.
